PROGRAMMES FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT
Long-cycle Higher Education Programmes
A full bachelor degree programme takes 3 years to complete and a masters degree takes 2 years. A common feature is that they are theory-oriented and you will work scientifically and analytically.
Medium-cycle Higher Education Programmes
The programmes take 3 - 4½ years to complete and are often aimed at specific professions or job functions. Several include an internship programme of ½ - 1 year, and this link between theory and practical experience is essential for many of the programmes.
Short-cycle Higher Education Programmes
A programme takes, as a general rule, 2 years to complete, though it can take longer. You should have an upper secondary school or vocational diploma to be admitted. The programmes combine practical challenges with theoretical knowledge.
International Baccalaureate
The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a 2-year international upper secondary school diploma programme that is offered in over 100 countries, including Denmark. It provides entry to higher education programmes, no matter in which country it is taken.
Adult Education
The master programmes described there are for adults with a relevant bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
